Who is Middleton United Soccer Club
Middleton United Soccer Club is a non-profit soccer club, run primarily by volunteer parents and under the supervision of a coaching director. Middleton United will provide a positive, fun, organized, and affordable soccer program for young players living in or near the Middleton and Cross Plains school districts.


Are Scholarships Available?

Assistance is available to families in financial need.  Please complete the scholarship packet and turn in 3 weeks prior to the program start date (see contact info for our address). All applications will be kept confidential.

When does the soccer season start?

Teams are usually formed in late spring and early summer and begin right after Labor Day. There are approximately 8 weeks in the Fall season and 8 in the spring. One soccer year includes both fall and spring seasons.

Are there tryouts?
 
Middleton United will be hosting tryouts to those players who are interested in playing in the Classic League.  For those players participating in the Recreational League, these players will not need to tryout.

Can I join your club even if I don't live in the Middleton and Cross Plains school district?
Yes. There are many reasons for people to join Middleton United, even if they don't live in Middleton. For example, it may be conveniently located to your work or daycare or your child may want to play with a friend who lives in Middleton/Cross Plains. 


Is this part of KEVA?

KEVA has decided to partner up with Middleton United SC in order to help start the club. Middleton United SC will have separate finances, a board of directors, insurance. Middleton United SC will be set up similar to other non-profit clubs.

 

Who will coach the teams?

Parents will volunteer to coach and manage the teams.

Background checks will be conducted on all coaches and managers. Coaches for U6-U18 will be required to have a license.


What is The Alliance and is Middleton United apart of it?

Middleton United SC is proud to announce the partnership with The Madison Area Soccer Alliance.  The Alliance consists of the following west side clubs:  Madison Magic, Regent, Shorewood, Verona, and Madison 56ers.  These clubs work cooperatively to assist soccer players of every ability and interest level.  Through The Alliance, we are able to find a team for almost every player.  Cooperation is also used in forming in-house leagues for our U9-U10 recreational teams and forming our Classic (competitive) U11-U18 teams.

 

Is this recreational or competitive play?

Middleton United will provide opportunities for both recreational and competitive game play.  Families can choose based on their

preference.


Do we need to get new uniforms each year?

No. Middleton United SC will try to keep these costs down.  Your child will be able to keep their uniform for a minimum of 2 years, if not more. You will be able to purchase new jerseys as you see fit (child outgrows jersey, loses jersey, etc.
